Abstract
 Objective: To determine the relationship between menstrual cycle length and dysmenorrhea in female adolescents aged 9-18 years Sang Timur Tomang School West Jakarta.
 Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach to conduct observational analytic research. The samples were students School. Study data obtained through Verbal Multidimensional Scoring System (VMSS) questionnaire Indonesian. Chi-square test of independence was dysmenorrhea.
 Results: From total 137 respondents, 38% have abnormal length. Eighty-two-point-seven percent respondents who experienced dysmenorrhea, 17,3% participants did not experience dysmenorrhea. results showed significant Jakarta (p = 0,005).
